|(Supervisor) My name is James Kagel. I have lived in Seneca Township since 1971 where I dairy farmed until January 2008. I raised 2 children Sally and Ben with my first wife Sharon, who passed away in 2001. I married Rosemary in 2002. We live on Kishwaukee Valley Road where I still farm raising corn, soybeans, wheat, and hay. Rosemary had 2 children also, so between us we have 4 children and 8 grandchildren with whom we spend a great deal of our spare time.
|(Clerk) My name is Dawn Seemann. I have lived in the Marengo /Union area since 1972. My husband Dave and I have two terriffic kids, Samantha and Brad. I am employed by Marengo Community High School. ||(Trustee) I am Rosemary Bartman. I am proud to say my husband John and I have lived in Seneca Township since 1968. We have four grown children and farm of 600 acres. We raise grain and sweetcorn, which we sell on the roadside. I am ex-chairman of the McHenry County Farm Bureau Women’s Committee, and was active in my childrens’ Marengo schools, Sacred Heart Church, and have been an Election Judge in Seneca for approximately 20 years.
|(Trustee) My name is Susan Mathews. My husband Keith, our sons, Jake and Jarrett, and I began our move to Seneca Township in 2001. The area’s rural atmosphere appealed to us after living in a more crowded community. We enjoy the wide open land areas and the freedom to live comfortably without the constraints of a crowded suburb. My interests include spending time with my family and working with my dogs and horses.
